* Degree / Diploma in Wood Industry / Engineering or equivalent preferably candidate with minimum 2-3 years’
experience as a supervisor in manufacturing industry.

Job Specification
1. Preferably SPM/SPMV/MCE qualification, or
2. Certificate (MLVK in Mechanical/Mechatronics) or other relevant certificate preferably with 1-2 years working
experience in manufacturing industry, or
3. Minimum SRP/PMR qualification with 2-3 years working experience in manufacturing industry
4. Technical Skill including welding skill
5. Willing to work on shift

Job Duties & Responsibility
1. To operate the boiler and ensure the ample supply of energy for the plant usage.
2. To plan, carry out and co-ordinate the routine and periodical machine preventive maintenance.
3. Maintain the equipment in the boiler house in order to meet Production, Safety, Health & Environment
requirement.
4. To ensure a clean and safe working environment in their respective sections.
5. To check on their worker’s attendance and take disciplinary actions where applicable.
6. To carry out other duties assigned by Immediate Superior.
7. Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time
8. Ensure PPE is worn by subordinates at all times.

* To collect and analyses testing information on board testing results, to process the information and to the appropriate party (e.g. whether boards can be released for sale)
* To ensure routine testing is carried out in a timely manner
* To analyses process information and take action when control limits are exceeded
* To perform spot checks on all quality related areas from raw materials to finished boards
* To control stocks of materials and lab equipment related to testing work
* To ensure all waste, schedule waste and chemical activities follow SOP and related regulation
* To carry out other duties assigned by management as per Special Duties & Responsibilities Manual
* Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time
* To supervise the Lab Assistants and QC Inspectors
